Anytime Trivia was created by the team behind Quizrunners, a company founded by brothers Kevin and Vernon Evoy after years of running live trivia nights in bars and restaurants. Long before building software, we were building games-testing questions, watching crowds, and learning firsthand what keeps people engaged on a busy night.
Trivia has always been part of our lives. From early exposure to the pre-release of Trivial Pursuit in the late 1970s to hosting and producing live trivia events years later, we’ve spent decades immersed in how people play, compete, and have fun together. That experience eventually led to Quizrunners, which launched in 2009 to help venues deliver better, more reliable trivia nights.
Over time, a pattern became clear. Trivia nights worked incredibly well-but only once a week. On the other nights, TVs went unused, guests disengaged, and staff had neither the time nor the tools to run interactive entertainment consistently.
Anytime Trivia was built to solve that problem.
We took everything we learned from writing and hosting thousands of trivia games-what questions work, how pacing matters, where people drop off, and what keeps teams coming back-and built a system that runs automatically. No host. No setup. No staff involvement. Just instant, always-on trivia that works in real bars, night after night.
